In Neukirchen am Großvenediger, winter fun for young and old is guaranteed. In the family-friendly Wildkogel Arena 64 km of snow-covered slopes and downhill runs to Neukirchen and Bramberg await you. A special pleasure is a tobogganing tour on the 14 km long toboggan run from Wildkogel to Bramberg, which is illuminated until 10 pm. The Wildkogelbahn takes you safely and comfortably to the ski area. Only a few kilometres away are the ski areas Zillertal Arena and Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen, which provide variety. The little ones learn the art of skiing in the Kogel-Mogel children's areas of the Ski Arena with magic carpets, ski carousels, guest kindergarten and their own children's restaurant.

There are countless opportunities to experience winter in the valley as well. Enjoy winter to the full on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, winter walks, torchlight hikes, ice skating, snowshoe hikes or cross-country skiing on perfectly groomed trails (which lead directly past the Bärngartenhof). Excursions such as the National Park Centre in Mittersill, numerous events and activities ensure fun and action.
